Chair (1 per space)
Wireless internet access
Security during festival hours
Access to electricity (see note below)

Additional lighting

Unloading and Setup
Thanks to ample dock space, we no longer have to assign time slots for exhibitors to unload. Come anytime between 8:00 am and 3:00 pm on Friday, September 14. Please note, the dock tends to get very busy after 1:00 pm. If you have an extensive booth to unload, we advise arriving earlier than luch time.

Exhibitor Assistants
- All exhibitors will receive 2 exhibitor badges, which must be worn to gain entrance to the festival site before it’s open to the public. - Beyond your 2 allotted exhibitor badges, if you would like to have extra assistants, you may purchase additional exhibitor badges for $25 each. - For unloading and set up as well as tear down and load out times, additional helpers are fine without badges, but they must clear the area as soon they are done assisting you. - There will be Indie Craft Parade volunteers available at all times if you want additional help, need a bathroom break, or just want to escape your booth for a few minutes.

Booth Assignments
Please see the included example map to get an idea of the festival layout. Your booth assignment will be sent out on August 15. - 10 x 10 booths -- Almost all 10x10 booths back up to 8’ tall black pipe and drape. You may only hang lightweight items from this. - 10 x 6 booths -- Almost all 10x 6 booths back up to a brick wall. You cannot hang anything on the brick, but you can lean or prop items. This is a restored historic venue and this policy will be enforced. - Emerging artists booths -- These booths are located in a line in front of large windows. You cannot hang anything on the brick, but you can lean or prop items.

Note about Electricity
Multiple vendors share the same circuits. Vendors are allowed to bring low-amperage electronic devices only (i.e. no elements that produce heat like a hot plate, hair dryer, etc.). Extension cords over 25 feet long are not permitted. Indie Craft Parade reserves the right to change the allotment of electricity per vendor to comply with safety and building standards. If you have any questions contact us at erin@makerscollective.org.

Booth Displays
You must stay within your booth area. You may not place anything in someone else’s space or in the aisle in front of your booth. The aisles must be left clear. Don’t block them with displays or by standing or sitting there.

Please note that booth dimensions are not exact, due to the irregularities of the historic venue. Indie Craft Parade is not responsible for booths that do not fit within the space provided. Each artist is responsible for staying within their given space, even if that means modifying their booth. If you have a freestanding booth display (walls, shelves, etc) and are concerned about spacing, please email erin@makerscollective.org by August 1.

Booth display elements must not pose a safety risk to others. Rugs, extension cords and any propped displays must be secured to prevent possible injury to attendees. Please do not bring overly top heavy items that could fall. All liquids must be in closed containers.

Any time you sell something to the public, the state of South Carolina requires you to have a current retail license for collecting sales tax. You’re welcome to include sales tax in the total price of your items so you don’t have to deal with small coins and percentages. Just make sure you charge it somewhere so you’re not out that money in the end.

location

NEW FOR 2018! Indie Craft Parade is moving to the historic Taylors Mill, located about 8 miles from downtown Greenville. The address is 232 Mill Street, Taylors, SC 29687. The venue is a renovated brick mill building, updated for trade shows and large events.

Accommodations

There are lots of places to stay in the greater Greenville area. However, Taylors SC (where the Mill is located) is a more residential community, so there are few accomodations in the immediate vicinity. There are no hotels within walking distance. Even so, it is very easy to drive around the city and suburbs of Greenville, so finding lodging within a 15-20 minute drive of the festival site should be fairly easy. (Side Note: if you happen to be flying into the festival through GSP, you will almost certainly need to rent a car.)

Here are your best options for lodging in the area:
Special rate for Indie Craft Parade Exhibitors at TownePlace Suites by Marriott $139
The TownePlace Suites has set up a limited block for Indie Craft Parade exhibitors. This hotel is located near Haywood Mall, 20 minutes from the festival. The hotel features studio suites and double suites--perfect for exhibitor families or for a couple of exhibitors willing to split a hotel. The nightly rate for this hotel is usually $200+ on weekends.

To book this special rate, you must directly contact Joseph Capone, the booking agent at this location. He can be reached at 864-675-1670 or at 864-419-7211. He is in the office Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. You can also email him at joseph.capone@marriott.com. Be ready with your business name to book the hotel.

Greater Greenville: nightly rates from approximately $100 - 200 The closest concentration of hotels are located on Haywood Road and by the Greenville Spartanburg Airport. Both areas are approximately 20 minutes from the festival.

Downtown Greenville: nightly rates from approximately $200 - $300 If you’ve never been to Greenville, SC, this is a great way to experience our little city. Check out the visitor guide from VGSC. This is the best way to get a sense of restaurants and attractions (including a park with a beautiful waterfall!) throughout downtown. The driving time from downtown to the festival is 20 minutes.

You might want to check Airbnb as well which has some options around Greenville.
