Who is this event for?
The Makers Summit is designed for creative entrepreneurs who want to grow successful businesses. If you’re already gotten started either part-time or full-time and are eager to take the next step, this conference is for you.
I'm just starting my business. Is the makers summit right for me?
While the conference is intended for entrepreneurs with existing businesses, there is still much to be gained if you're in the planning stages. The topics covered at the Makers Summit will show the big picture of what it looks like to run a creative company, and the connections made with speakers and attendees can be invaluable.
Who attends The Makers Summit?
Our attendees come from all over the United States to attend this one-of-a-kind conference. The majority of attendees are makers of physical products, though the following industries are also well represented: design, retail, food, photography, fine art, blogging, and tech.
How Much does it cost?
Tickets go on sale Nov. 15, 2017. The early bird price of $250 is available through the end of 2017. Standard ticket pricing of $295 begins Jan. 1, 2018.
What is the cancellation policy for purchased tickets?
Tickets are non-refundable until the event is sold out. Once the event is sold out, you may receive a refund (minus a $45 transfer service fee), providing we are able to re-sell your ticket to someone on the waiting list. If the event is less than 4 weeks away, the transfer service fee is increased to $65.
Can I transfer my ticket to someone else?
If you purchased a ticket in your name and someone else will be using your ticket, please contact us to transfer the ticket registration to the new user. There is a $25 transfer service fee for a name change.
Can I buy a ticket to just THE After Party?
No, tickets to The Makers Summit encompass both the conference and After Party. You cannot purchase a ticket to just one component.
Can I bring my baby with me?
The Makers Summit is a fast-paced event and is not meant to be child-friendly. Since it's business focused, most folks step away from their other responsibilities for the 2 days. That being said, we are of course big supporters of families and understand that sometimes you might need to bring the little one along to a business function. We do ask that if you bring a child along, it's an infant under one year, a babe in arms. Please leave the stroller at home and wear or carry the baby, and respect the need for quiet in the sessions. If the child is a disruption or distraction to other guests, we may have to ask you to leave.
If you are a nursing mother in need of a private place to pump, we’ve got you covered! Ask our staff at registration to show you to the nursing mother’s room.

Check out Aloft, Hyatt Regency, Hampton Inn, The Westin Poinsett, Courtyard by Marriott, Home2 Suites by Hilton, Embassy Suites, and The Swamp Rabbit Inn.
