2017 Indie Craft Parade - $5

Join us for the eighth annual Indie Craft Parade, a three-day festival celebrating handmade art. Founded in 2010 as Greenville's first annual handmade marketplace, Indie Craft Parade has become one of the premier Southern craft events showcasing quality southern-made goods.

Handcrafted goods will be available for sale in the following categories: 2D Fine Art, 3D Fine Art, Paper Goods, Fiber Art, To Wear, and Everything Else.

Friday, September 15, ticketed VIP Gala: 6pm – 9pm (tickets go on sale August 1)
Saturday, September 16: 9am – 6pm

We're teaming up with Hollowed Earth Pottery again this year to bring you on-site ceramic demonstrations during Artisphere. Find us on Greenville's Main Street bridge and watch Mark Batory create wheel-thrown ceramic pieces from start to finish.

There will also be more artist demonstrations, including glass blowing, woodworking and metal smithing. For festival hours and more information about Artisphere, visit the Artisphere website.

Saturday Market Booth with a Cause

Find us at The Greenville Saturday Market on October 22nd! We'll be sharing information about our school scholarship program and highlighting student work from last year's winning school.

Each year, Makers Collective awards $500 toward a Greenville (SC) County school art program. Applications must be submitted before November 15, 2016.

Join us at Anthropologie on Saturday morning to make a special card for your mom! We'll have all the supplies you need to create a handmade Mother's Day card (which we all know is the best kind).

If you'd like to purchase a few blooms to go along with your card, Willow Florals will also be on site with fresh flower arrangements. Drop in anytime between 10 and 2 and we'll help you create something great. This event is geared toward kids but it's also for the kid at heart, so stop by and bring your nieces, nephews, children and grandchildren along!

Learn the basics of soapmaking with Red Clay Soap! Their cold process soapmaking demonstration will cover a brief history of the artisan craft in America, and show you how any plant-based soap can be made today with a wide variety of all-natural ingredients, including milk. You'll also enjoy a homesteading farm experience which includes a meet-and-greet with their goats (spring is baby goat season!), plus samples of goat milk fudge and cheese made on their farm.

Indigo Shibori Dyeing

Learn about indigo's place in the sustainability movement of the New South. Experience the indigo dyeing process, with instructor Catherine Cross, for a variety of mediums while participating with the hands on experience of dyeing your own yarn or fabric. Techniques that involve Shibori designs using rubber bands, hand stitching, wood and clamps will be shared. Participants will complete the dyeing process with provided fabric. They can also bring or purchase additional items to dye at the workshop.

Usher in spring with a sherbet-toned floral arrangement class hosted by Julie Dodds of Willow Florals. Think peonies and ranunculus, tulips, bright spring greens and filler blooms.
