What about parking?

The venue has 4 paved parking spaces in front. Our grass lot has an additional 16 spaces. There is another large paved lot adjacent to our building with ample parking and can be rented from the San Souci Church for a small fee. For most events, including our busy Holiday Pop Up Shop, the onsite parking is adequate.

Are there additional fees?

We require a credit card for a security deposit. Your card will only be charged if property is damaged or if the space is not left in the condition stipulated.

Event insurance is required for any events that are open to the public. You can use any insurance company that meets our minimums (www.theeventhelper.com is a good source).

Additional cleaning fees may apply depending on the duration of your event rental. See below for more details.

How is payment handled?

A 50% deposit is required at time of booking in order to reserve your date. Payment must be made in full 10 days prior to your event.

What is your cancellation policy?

If you wish to cancel for any reason, we require a 30 day notice for a full refund. If you cancel after 30 days, you will receive a 50% refund. No refunds will be given after 48 hours before your event.

Who is responsible for cleaning?

We will provide a clean space for your rental. You are responsible to leave the space in the same condition. For 1 day events, you may opt to clean the space yourself with our supplies. For events longer than 1 day, a cleaning service is required, which will incur an additional fee.

Will Makers Collective staff be on site during my rental?

No. The venue operates like an Airbnb, and once your rental period begins, you will have full private access to the space. You will have a staff contact at your disposal that can answer questions as needed or troubleshoot any issues that might arise.

What about security?

Our venue is equipped with a security system, complete with cameras. The system is professionally monitored.

Is the venue handicap accessible?

The venue is all one level and the bathroom meets ADA regulations. However, there is 1 step up onto the building’s entryway, and there is not a ramp.

What type of displays and props are included?

You’ll have access to all the Makers Collective retail displays and full prop library — everything from clothing racks and hangers to bins, baskets, crates, and trays. Our gallery hanging system comes with everything you need to display artwork. We also have a checkout stand fully equipped with Square register stand (does not include the iPad) to run whatever checkout app you choose.

Can I rent your photobooth?

Our photobooth can be added to venue rentals for an additional cost. The photobooth is not available for off-site rentals.

Do you have recommendations for caterers or rentals?
